The terms observing framework, subjects and pointers have more accentuation in the conversations, as these ideas structure the center of the examination. Observing framework What is a checking framework? What is the reason for an observing framework? What are the various structures directions or potentially orders of an observing framework? What components ought to be considered in structuring in an observing framework for trainings? The ensuing conversations will respond to these inquiries prompting an intensive comprehension regarding the matter. What is checking system?According to Letdown, Aitkin and Janis (2001), an observing framework Is fined as a compact portrayal of what ought to be (targets) and a procedure to decide to what is (procedural and status report). It is additionally clarified that it is a system inside which to choose or characterize, decipher and utilize a wide cluster of markers. On a comparable ground, Fit Gibbon (1996) refers to that observing is a method of inspecting nature of execution, to a great extent by the utilization of execution pointers routinely gathered as well as being accounted for back to the units mindful. This definition frequently ideas, for example, execution, results and criticism. Oily and Callaghan (1996) additionally consider observing as deliberate and ordinary techniques for the rehashed assortment and understanding of evaluation information of significant parts of the subject under examination. It isn't really confined to result factors, yet can likewise include relevant data and proportions of sources of info and procedures (House and Tijuana, 1994; and screens et al. , 1988).After considering the previously mentioned definitions, it tends to be summed up that the checking framework might be alluded to as a system used to occasionally follow quality by recording inputs, procedures, yields and results for purposes and trainings programs. Aftereffects of the observing framework should likewise be taken care of back to every single concerned unit inside the association. A checking framework envelops various significant pointers and sub-markers, the guidelines by which quality estimations are based from, and the information gathering instruments of the subje ct being monitored.Integrated in propositions definitions are the reasons for observing to associations. The utilization of pointers will be talked about in the later piece of this section. What is the reason for a checking framework? When identifying with trainings, an observing framework fills in as a component that modifies a client or number of clients with a few wellsprings of data relating to the procedure being explored, giving input and flagging and diagnosing issues (Jansen, 1996);.Identify issue territories in deciding the best allotment of assets; and persuade and make mindfulness among chairmen and mentors to improve quality and invigorate self-administrative systems (Willis,1 992). It is additionally used to analyze deviations from strategy, decide authoritative qualities and shortcomings in achieving explicit objectives, and afterward dispatch therapeutic activities. What are the most-well-known orders of observing frameworks? Fundamentally, this investigation receives in any event two orders of moon mentoring frameworks as per reason and stages.Willis (1992) arranged obse rving frameworks for trainings as per reason communicated in the types of consistence, execution and symptomatic checking frameworks. To start with, consistence, compliances observing is that if Organizations satisfy their guidelines On different measures, satisfactory degrees Of execution will follow. For example, all together for an assembling organization to be ISO confirmed, it needs to ensure that their workers are given the sight trainings to show up at an objective execution level in consistence with the standards. Also in most government foundations, there are arrangements on the proceeding with instruction and aptitudes upgrade of representatives. Foundations are being checked whether they have fulfilled trainings necessities pending the arrival of their yearly spending plans. Second, execution checking measures the noteworthy change in execution or results of some random mediation. Deals specifically, execution checking is utilized to watch the expansion in execution after deals faculty were exposed to a progression Of trainings and workshops. On method of directing execution observing framework accentuates the ID of the qualities and frail nesses of a preparation mediation. Significance of participation Government authorities, instructors gatherings, and individual guardia ns all have voiced their interests over the need to create arrangements and practices to neutralize the issues confronting our countries schools today, for example, the dropout rate, medicate misuse, and declining training execution (Bernstein, 1990). Poor school participation stimulates solid emotions in educators, guardians, individuals from the instructive help administrations, instructive chairmen, legislators, and pupils. These solid sentiments are communicated in various and regularly conflicting ways, contingent upon the people own point of view (Galloway, 1985). The measurements identified with school non-appearance are faltering. Each school day, 2,500,000 understudies are accounted for missing from school. The dropout rate is assessed at 27 percent broadly and more than 45 percent in certain urban communities. The 27 percent dropout rate compares to 65 busloads of understudies who leave United States schools every week and don't return. In a years time, 700,000 understudies will be lost. In two years, the number will surpass one lion (Person, 1990). The Virginia Department of Education has made a framework for better and increasingly responsible schools through what is presently called the Outcome Accountability Project (POP). This program sets up the measures for how schools and school divisions will be considered responsible for meeting the responsibility of improving learning for all. The information from the POP gives a structure to dissecting the school region by breaking the entire into a portion of its parts. The participation information for auxiliary understudies gave by the POP to the State of Virginia shows that 66 percent of understudies in perusers 9-12 during the school year 95-96 were missing 10 days or less from school. The POP information further records Newport News Public Schools as having 55 percent of its evaluations 9-12 understudies missing 10 days or less from school (POP Report, 1997). The school reasoning, all in all, is one that worries to i nstructors, students, and guardians the significance of normal school participation. This is on the grounds that the conviction just through ordinary school participation would students be able to advance scholastically at an effective rate (Jet Plat, 1979). Participation is a piece of an understudies aggregate record. It is significant that acceptable school participation propensities be set up for later years when students look for business (Jet Plat, 1979). Fly and Plat reason that participation and its significance ought to be educated to understudies. Essential to that way of thinking is the conviction that poor understudy participation and truancy are a portion of the primary indications of rot of a school and school system. Therefore, it is officeholder upon teachers to do everything they can to advance great school participation propensities among their students. Any individual who has skipped or needed to rehash an evaluation, has been set in or avoided from an extraordinary program, or as been precluded scholarly credit in light of the fact that from claimin g unlucky deficiencies knows the significance of neighborhood school arrangements. While academic consideration has would in general spotlight on government and state training strategy, the individuals who join in and work in schools understand that their lives can be influenced significantly by approach made at the school and area level (Duke and Canada, 1 991 Cuba (1984) distinguishes eight particular originations of policy. They incorporate the accompanying: arrangement is an affirmation of plans or objectives. Approach is the aggregated standing choices of an overseeing body, by which it directs, controls, advances, administrations, and in any case impacts matters inside its friend Of power. Arrangement is manual for optional activity. Approach is a procedure embraced to tackle or enhance an issue. Arrangement is endorsed conduct. Strategy is a standard of direct portrayed by consistency and normality in some considerable activity zone. Arrangement is the yield of the approach making system.Policy is the impact of the strategy making and arrangement actualizing framework as it is clarified by the customer. The analyst accepts that every one of the above originations by Cud has some an incentive for the investigation of school region and school strategy. Duke and Canada (1991) allude to class approach as NY official activity taken at the locale or school level to energize or requiring consistency and normality. They further express that the definition suggests deliberateness with respect to those creating policy.Pizza (1983) alludes to class approach as fitting into a nature of open strategies. At the end of the day, where the activity of pubic schools is concerned, a scope of approach sources can be distinguished. Pizza further expresses that approaches are gotten from Congress, the Department Of Education, the courts, State governing bodies, transitional organizations, educational committees, and school-based work force. To comprehend instructive arrangement in the United States, it is important to see every one of these policymaking elements and the connections among them. Duke and Canada (1991) distinguish three motivations to consider policy.First, huge numbers of the training strategies liable to directly affect the lives of understudies, guardians, and instructors are neighborhood school approaches. A state council may pass enactment concerning the designation of assets for training, however the enactment doesn't get important for customers, supporters, and workers until neighborhood arrangement choices decide how the accessible assets sick be used. Second, schools serving comparative gatherings of understudies can contrast extraordinarily in regions, for example, understudy accomplishme nt, participation, dropped rate, instructor confidence, and school climate. The third motivation to consider school approaches as indicated by Duke and Canada (1991) is the way that the quantity of loc

Experiment of Calcium Carbonate Composition of Eggshells

Examination of Calcium Carbonate Composition of Eggshells Presentation Calcium carbonate, CaCO3, is found in nature invigorating hardness and to things, for example, shells, rocks, and eggshells. As hard as this substance seems to be, it will respond promptly with hydrochloric corrosive to yield carbon dioxide gas (and two different items). In this examination understudies will plan a test by responding eggshells with 2 M HCl to think about the calcium carbonate organization of white (chicken) eggshells to brown eggshells. By and large, 2.2 grams of calcium as calcium carbonate. Around 94% of a dry eggshell is calcium carbonate and has a commonplace mass of 5.5 grams,1 in spite of the fact that these qualities can contrast contingent upon sources. Sums as low as 78% have been distributed. The staying mass is made to a great extent out of phosphorus and magnesium, and follow measures of sodium, potassium, zinc, manganese, iron, and copper. On account of earthy colored versus white eggs, an authoritative distinction in calcium carbonate sums might be difficult to reveal. In any case, think about this. The shade of the eggs is simply a consequence of an alternate variety. The quality, dietary benefit, and taste are indistinguishable among white and earthy colored eggs, however two prominent contrasts are size and cost. Earthy colored eggs are generally bigger and somewhat increasingly costly. The purpose behind the cost increment is on the grounds that earthy colored eggs originate from bigger hens, which should be taken care of more food every day. With a bigger admission of calcium every day, one may anticipate that the created egg should have a higher calcium carbonate content. In any case, since the eggs are bigger, it must be remembered that the calcium is spread over a bigger surface region during egg arrangement. An earthy colored eggshells expanded inclination to break, when contrasted with white, is regularly ascribed to this â€Å"thinning out† of calcium during statement. To keep away from the breakage of eggs before arriving at advertise, the eggshells should be as solid as could be expected under the circumstances. The quality of eggshells is for the most part controlled by the level of calcium carbonate in it. So as to screen the nature of eggshells, the accompanying investigation must be done to decide the level of calcium carbonate in eggshells. In this analysis, back titration is utilized. To start with, overabundance corrosive is responded with the calcium carbonate in eggshells. 2HCl(aq)+CaCO3(s)â†'CaCl2(aq)+H2O(l)+CO2(g) Afterward, on the off chance that we can discover the quantity of mole of unreacted corrosive, number of mole of calcium carbonate would then be able to be discovered. The quantity of mole of unreacted corrosive can be found by titration with the accompanying response. HCl(aq)+NaOH(aq)â†'H2O(l)+NaCl(aq) Rate by mass of calcium carbonate in eggshell would then be able to be determined by the accompanying recipe: 4.2AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The reason for this trial is to decide the rate by mass of calcium carbonate in eggshells. structure a trial that evaluates the measure of calcium carbonate present in a whiz substance. relate the measure of a reactant or result of a synthetic response to another reactant or item. work cooperatively with their friends to take care of a given issue in the research facility such that models the logical technique. apply a typical corrosive response between hydrochloric corrosive and the carbonate particle. Section 2 Hypothesis METHOLOGY Standard OF THE EXPERIMENT During this trial, the level of CaCO3 in an eggshell is dictated by responding the eggshell with hydrochloric corrosive. The condition for this response is: 2HCl (aq) + CaCO3(s)â†'Ca2+ (aq) + CO2 (g) + H2O (l) + 2Cl-(aq) This response can't be utilized legitimately titrate with the CaCO3. Rather, an overabundance of hydrochloric corrosive is added to disintegrate the eggshell, and the staying corrosive is titrated with NaOH answer for decide the measure of corrosive that didn't respond with the eggshell. The condition used to decide the measure of extra corrosive is: HCl (aq) + NaOH (aq) â†' H2O (l) + Na+ (aq) + Cl-(aq) Mechanical assembly AND EQUIPMENTS Measuring glass Pipette Filler Electronicbalance Volumetric flagon BuretteWash bottle Mortar and pestle Conical flagons White tile Channel pipe Filtter paper 25.00 cm 3 pipette Synthetic substances USED 2 M HCl Phenolphthalein 2 M NaOH Technique White and Red shading eggshells have taken and the protein layer was evacuated within the eggshells. The eggshell was washed with refined water Dried in a stove for few moments. The eggshell was then grounded into fine powder by mortar and pestle. 2g of eggshell powder is weighted precisely by utilizing an electronic parity and it was moved to a tapered flagon. 25.00 cm3 of HCl was pipetted to break up the eggshell powder. Refined water was added to the flagon until it came to about 100cm3. The carafe was twirled delicately. Put the arrangement into cubed for two days. Wavered the arrangement utilizing channel papers. Pippet out 25.00 cm3 from every answer for titration flagons. The arrangement was then titrated with normalized NaOH. Rehash another two examples from every arrangement. Many providers will also encourage family sessions and sometimes use teletherapy or online counseling to include family members who live out of town.   Dont Insist That You Can Recover on Your Own Research shows that people with eating disorders are more likely to recover with a specialized treatment team in place.?? In most cases, willpower, self-help books, and independent work cannot replace the professional guidance of a therapist, dietitian, and physician. These professionals have years of experience and training to help you on the road to recovery. (Exception: In some cases, especially when there are no available specialists, or you may not be able to afford care, self-help and guided self-help for bulimia and binge eating disorder may be helpful.) Dont Put the Needs of Others Above Your Own Many people prioritize caring for other people above making sure that their own needs are met, sometimes hurting themselves in the process. This can be especially true when you are friends with someone who also has an eating disorder. While you want to help, their stories can be triggering and/or emotionally draining. Make sure that you take care of yourself first and determine how much of yourself you can truly give to others by setting appropriate boundaries. Dont Believe You Arent Worth the Cost Treatment and recovery from an eating disorder can be expensive and time-consuming. Try not to get caught up in thinking that you are not worth the financial commitment that treatment may require. If money is an issue, talk openly with your treatment providers about it. There are often ways to get treatment that is less expensive. Dont Lose Hope Eating disorders are serious and sometimes fatal diseases.?? But they are treatable, and full recovery is possible. When you begin to lose hope, it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Work to stay positive and talk to your therapist anytime you find you are struggling emotionally. Dont Be Afraid to Ask for Help Hopefully, you have a wonderful treatment team in place that you can call for help and support, no questions asked. But are you also including your family and friends and giving them a chance to support you in recovery? Asking for help can be a daily process and may require you to ask for specific things (such as support during meals) that they can help you with. Dont Keep Your Condition a Secret Keeping secrets about difficult things in your life can lead to feelings of shame and prevent you from asking for support when you need it.?? Choose people who have earned your trust when it comes to sharing your experience. If they know whats going on, theyre more likely to be able to be there for you in ways that will help. Dont Be Impatient With Recovery Full recovery can take years and for many, its not easy. Many people struggle with slips and relapses as well. Have faith in the recovery process and check in with your treatment team if you arent making the progress that you had hoped for. Do Listen to Your Treatment Team Your treatment team should be comprised of professionals who have years of training and experience with eating disorders. Listen to them when they recommend specific changes, even when it might seem scary to you. Changes such as adding a medication, adopting a meal plan, or considering a higher level of care can be important and necessary changes to your treatment plan.?? Dont Avoid All Situations That Make You Anxious Recovery from an eating disorder requires facing situations that you may have been avoiding, such as eating certain foods, tolerating feelings of fullness, and tolerating feelings of anxiety when you do not exercise. Work with your treatment team to develop a plan to gradually face these situations.   A Word From Verywell An eating disorder is a complex mental illness that requires professional care. While there is certainly helpful reading material out there, it cant replace the care of a qualified treatment team. Always consult with your providers before making any changes to your treatment plan. The Best Online Therapy Programs

Animal Farm Descriptions and Analysis - Free Essay Example

Animal Farm was written soon after George Orwell resigned from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in 1943, while he worked as the literary editor for the Tribune, in London. He had not written a novel during the three years he was with the BBC and was having an extremely hard time writing at all, with World War II in full force. Animal Farm was completed in four months. It was one year later that he found someone who would publish it and almost another year before it was finally offered to the public. Animal Farm and the book he wrote following it, Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), are Orwells most highly acclaimed works. An anti-Soviet satire, the book was ahead of its time. The U.S.S.R. was fighting with the allied forces in World War II, and the book was seen as an attack on the U.S.S.R. and Joseph Stalin. After World War II, the book was published. The political situation was different then, and Animal Farm appeared just as the Cold War was beginning. Orwell called Animal Farm the first . . . in which I tried, with full consciousness of what I was doing, to fuse political purpose and artistic purpose into one whole. Animal Farm was a huge success as soon as it was published. It was established as a modern classic almost immediately. A very short book, written simply and fluently, it is a drastic departure from anything else Orwell had or would produce. Animal Farm abounds with allegory, beginning with Old Major, who recalls Karl Marx. Every character and event may be seen as symbolic of historical Russian figures and events between the years 1917 and 1943. Orwell said the books purpose was the destruction of the Soviet myth. The flag raised by the animals, with hoof and horn, is similar to the Russian flag of hammer and sickle. Napoleon is generally likened to Stalin, and the countenance and actions of Snowball are thought to resemble those of Leon Trotsky. The name Snowball recalls Trotskys white hair and beard, and possibly, too, that he crumbled under Stalins opposition. The event in which Snowball is chased away from the farm is similar to the expulsion of Trotsky from Russia in 1929. The book is written with such sophistication and subtlety, however, that a reader unaware of Russian history might very well see it as an animal story only. Moreover, reading the book strictly to find reference to Russian history misses an importa nt point: Orwell said the book is intended as a satire on dictatorship in general. The name of the ruling pig, Napoleon, is a reminder that there have been dictators outside Russia. Not Stalin in particular, but totalitarianism is the enemy Orwell exposes. The problem Orwell addresses is how to combine power with ideals. How do the oppressed who rise above their oppressors manage to keep from becoming like the oppressors? With this book, Orwell gives an instance of the slave coming to resemble the master after overthrowing him. There is not a happy ending. From the beginning of the story, the dogs are against the rats, thus foreshadowing an animal government in which social justice will not be acquired.

Using Math Vocabulary With Intentionality While...

Students will use math vocabulary with intentionality while incorporating a comprehensive vocabulary program that will be updated and utilized throughout the year as a main component of my instruction. Throughout the ELL certification program, vocabulary has been consistently emphasized as an invaluable strategy for the teaching and learning of ELL students. Although this has been stressed, it has not become a focus in my instruction; my plan is to develop a structure that will ensure that vocabulary becomes a part of my weekly lesson plan. Robert Marzano has written much regarding vocabulary instruction. Additionally, he provides research to support just how important it is not only to EL students, but also to all students throughout their learning. Marzano states, â€Å"direct vocabulary instruction has an impressive track record of improving students background knowledge and the comprehension of academic content. Direct instruction on words that are critical to new content produces the most powerful learning.† Marzano is asserting that vocabulary is fundamental to learning. One of the many important and most memorable incidents of World War Two would be the Holocaust. Therefore, they decided to destroy the Jewish race, and created genocide. The Jews were put into unbearable torture at many concentration and death camps. In fact, 6 million Jews were killed in this incident; however, there were many victims who survived this anguish. Wiesenthal worked in many legal and corporate offices, to gain his status, along with conducting his research. After leaving the United States Army in 1947, Wiesenthal and other volunteers opened the Jewish Historical Documentation Centre, which assisted with the evidence for war crime trials. Yet, as the Cold War began, the association collapsed. All of the documents and research evidence were given away, except for one important document about Adolf Eichmann, who was the one that supervised the â€Å"Final Solution† technique during the war. Eichmann was never heard of after the war and he remained incognito. At last, in 1959, Germany informed th at Eichmann was in Buenos Aires, and was found guilty for mass destruction of the Jews. My Life As A Civilian - 995 Words

I was born on Ramstein Army Base just outside of Kaiserslautern, Germany. My father, an Air Force Lieutenant at the time, was stationed in the area when I arrived. Growing up an Air Force brat, I learned at an early age that our lifestyle isn’t normal. While most of my friends have known each other since preschool, I’ve lived in two countries and five states and attended seven different schools. I know I’m not typical. But I’ve always identified strongly with the military. It was an integral part of my childhood, dictating when we would move again and in which state I would receive instate tuition. I am proud of my background, of the challenges I’ve had to overcome and the hardships I’ve had to deal with because of it. It’s made me stronger as a person, and I would never choose to redo my childhood as a civilian. Just as much as it’s shaped my past, the military has also shaped my future. To start, it has broadened my horizons. Being exposed to so many different cultures around the US has made me discontent to settle in one area, and I find myself eager to explore the one region I haven’t yet lived: the West Coast. Growing up a military brat has also caused me to shy away from considering a career in the military. My dad’s tales of life at the Academy have scarred me enough to cross that option off my list. But also, I intend to stray from the military and start life as a civilian. I am a proud military brat. I appreciate all of the experiences the military has granted me.Show MoreRelatedMilitary Vs. Background Information Of The Reformation And Definition

Background Information of the Reformation and Definition The Protestant Reformation, known simply as â€Å"The Reformation,† began in 1517 with Martin Luther’s publication of the 95 Theses. Major players in this pivotal point in European history included Christian humanists such as Desiderius Erasmus, the Kings of France and England, the Holy Roman Emperors and at the center of it all; the Catholic Church. Luther’s publication of the 95 Theses, its’ rapid dissemination due to the technological advance of the printing press (1440), and a European population of lay Christians, Royalty, and Clergy alike primed to take on the excess and singular religious hold of the Catholic Church, created a firestorm of change that swept throughout Europe and significantly changed the practices of the Catholic Church. According to a current publication of PBS.org, Martin Luther â€Å"plunged a knife into the heart of an empire that had ruled for a thousand years, and set in motion a train of revolution, war and conflict that would reshape Western civilization, and lift it out of the Dark Ages.† Desiderius Erasmus (1466-1563) was a Dutch born scholar who actively supported the Northern Renaissance philosophy of Christian Humanism. Causes, Background And Environmental Effects - 1008 Words

Causes, Background and Environmental Effects In an article by Ehlers and Clark (2000), they discussed the definition and contributing factors of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Post-traumatic stress disorder is a reaction that occurs in extreme cases following trauma that threatens one’s life or puts them in serious danger. While PTSD is classified as an anxiety disorder, which is generally in response to an impending threat, patients with PTSD have problems with memories for events that have already occurred (citation). Because of its classification as an anxiety related disorder, it is often described as the perception of a current threat since the corresponding trauma had already occurred. In patients with persistent or chronic PTSD, the trauma and the threat that they perceive is not seen as a time-limited event and their daily lives can be interrupted with flashbacks at any time. Patients with PTSD are often generally seen as more negative and they perceive all or most subsequent events following their t rauma as negative to some degree. It is also common for patients with PTSD to overgeneralize their concepts of fear following trauma and tend to consider themselves as a reason for the event and a target for future similar events. Another concept that effects those with PTSD is the fact they cannot induce their own memories. Strategic Leadership for Journal of Cleaner-myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about theStrategic Leadership for Journal of Cleaner Production. Answer: Strategic acting has a close connection with the strategic thinking. They have a close relation with the strategic influence. Many organizations faces the biggest challenge in translating their strategic thinking into priorities. It is one of the most challenging aspect that is faced by the strategic leaders. In the book named, becoming a strategic leader, in chapter three the mind-set of fro the strategic actions have been studied and then they are analyzed at severe essential strategic acting competencies (Hughes, Beatty and Dinwoodie, 2014). The chapter gives a clear view of the strategic leadership and the relationship between strategic action and strategic thinking. There are different mind-set for strategic action like all the actions are not strategic, they are both long-term as well as short-term. It mostly consists of uncertain decisions and it offers the opportunity of learning (Lepsinger, 2010). When I was given a chance of acting strategically and lead my team my first and foremost action was to take the risk of accepting new ideas. I put aside my hesitations on putting forward my ideas of strategic planning to my supervisors and executives. I formed a concrete action plan. The most important step in this context is to formulate the plan. I sat down and formed an effective strategic plan. I have made a strategic decision many times, in school as well as in the organization I worked for. The most memorable change was the change that I made when I was working as an executive manager in a jewelry company. I formulated an attractive advertisement strategy. I took the decision of advertise the products of the company on social media as well as in newspapers, hoardings at different places in the region. I also created a new website of the company and made the products through online delivery. This increased the revenue of the company. Therefore this strategic decision proved to be an effective one. The key factors that I considered while making the decision was the growth of sales of the product. I considered the strategy that could make the products more famous and it would be able to be in demand. While making the decision I examined the advertisement strategy of the rival companies. I compared the marketing strategy of other companies. I made a market survey that is the primary form of research and explored the way to attract maximum amount of customers. I made a SWOT analysis of the same. In other word it can be said that I followed the strategic sales model. Initially I felt that I was not right. It was a challenge for me and I thought I took up a great risk by making experimenting with the new decision. However later when I found that the revenue of the company was getting increased and most importantly the number of customers of the company was increasing I started feeling that I was on the right track. My strategy was right that was visible from the result itself. It however took time to become successful. The technical matters were complicated and therefore it took some time for me to make the plan successful. In order to give advertisement in different channels of media a huge investment was made. I identified the strength of the company and tried to promote the same. At the same time I identified the weakness of the company and tried to work upon it. Initially when we were not getting positive response from the customers it came to my mind that the huge investment was a fault that was committed on my part. However after two months when we got huge response from the customers I became more confident and was self-consoled that the strategy imposed by me was correct. From the time I made the decision I grew more confident about my strategy. In the beginning I was a bit confused about my strategy and thought it was a failure. I made up my mind to apply new strategy and learn from my mistake. I experienced a dilemma in the beginning but gradually I was able to overcome the dilemma and got positive results from the application of the strategy. I was able to take the risk and learnt to manage the situation in case I had to face a situation of loss. I learnt that the act of strategy was a long-term goal as well as a short-term goal and sometimes strategies could fail. The person at that time should not lose hope but work hard for the formation of new strategy that would be an effective one. Mans best friend Essay Example For Students

Mans best friend Essay Jacob NorquistFeb. 3rd, 2002Mrs. Boothman DuyckMans Best FriendWho do you consider your best friend? Is it the person you grew up with? Is it your husband or wife? For many it is someone that is always theyre for them when sad or lonely, or when one needs to talk, cry, or laugh. However, thousands of Americans are turning to their dogs for a favorite companion. This paper will explore the enduring phrase Mans Best Friend and the loyalty, faithfulness, intelligence, and companionship shared by dogs and masters that make this statement true. Some might ask, why would anyone consider a dog their best friend? For many dog owners the answer would be loyalty. In a story from the Christian Science Monitor author William H. Carlile wrote, There is a hero on West Eunice Street just outside the suburb of Tucson: a two-year-old female English Springer Spaniel named Brandy. She is credited by law-enforcement officials with attacking and chasing off an intruder last year at the home of her owners, Jerry and Kendal Plank, despite having been shot five times by a 9mm semiautomatic machine gun.(11) This story is an excellent example of the loyalty a dog can acquire towards its masters, to be able to protect and even save lives. Loyalty is a very common trait given to dogs by their owners. Many of those who talk of the loyalty their dogs have for them will also have an incredible story to back up their beliefs. In an article in The Australian, an experienced hunter fell into a ravine and was unable to get out. He was there for five day s before rescuers found him; they reported that temperatures fell below freezing at night and it rained three of the five nights (007). His dog Bee, was able to get out of the ravine but decided to stay with his masters. Searcher Brent Keightley said, If it wasnt for the dog, Des wouldnt have survived. The article tells of how the dog slept with him to keep him warm during the freezing nights (007). This story not only demonstrates loyalty but also the faithfulness that a dog and master often share. Mans Best Friend is often considered a household phrase. Many people think of the loyalty of a dog when they here this saying, but for some it is also the loyalty of the owner and the friendship that builds between them. For an old baseball coach of mine it is not only a household saying but also the story of his relationship to his dog. Cassie, a black lab, went with him everywhere. Being a baseball coach, fireman, owner of a Construction Company, husband, and father of two this provides many places for Cassie to travel along side her owner. From games and practices to the work site of his construction jobs, she was always there to keep him company. As long as I have spent time around the two, he has talked to Cassie as if she were one of his kids. Stories like this can be found across the nation, proving that it is not just a few people who share a relationship at this level with their dogs. Many people have researched and studied the intelligence of dogs. However, I was unable to find any information that even compared to a newspaper article I found out of the Christian Science Monitor:Dusty, a two year-old bichon frise from Ely, Minn. Dusty was in a car driven by owner Joel Ward when it ran off a rain-soaked dirt road and tumbled into a forest. Even though he had been thrown from the car, Dusty made his way back to the road and jumped up and down in the middle of the road until a passing motorist called for help. Dusty then went back and stood guard over Mr. Ward until rescuers came. (Carlile, 11)As I have shown here a dog can prove to be more than just a family pet. Many dogs become as closely attached to their owners as their owners are to them. .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 , .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .postImageUrl , .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 , .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:hover , .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:visited , .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:active { border:0!important; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:active , .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7 .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ue568a4bbad9f8bb5c323a7eb7cfc14c7:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Kurt Lewin EssaySome pet owners find that their dogs seem to understand them more than they had ever imagined. The Night Owl Essays

The Night Owl Essays The Night Owl Essay The Night Owl Essay Name: Course: Lecturer: Date: The Night Owl Introduction In most cases, when people think about visual arts, they only analysis what they see in the form of art. What they really forget is the form of art uses some materials and dimensions of the form of art. This does not mean that they are wrong at looking at the scenes, the beauty or the completion of the form of art. It means that they are only analyzing one part of the art and forgetting to analyze the other part of art. For this fact, the piece of art ‘The Night Owl’ is analyzed deeply since all the elements of visual arts are applied. Discussion The form of art in this piece is a picture. The material used to take this picture is a camera. The materials have brought the elements of the picture clearly for the audience to view. For instance, ‘The Night Owl’ artists drew and painted the picture with the impression that it was at night inside a room. This is extremely impossible for the audience to view at night. However, medium and the materials used in the picture have made it easy for the audience to view. For instance, the medium used to paint this picture has enhanced the lighting of the picture making it possible for the viewers to see the different features in the photo. This lighting in the picture is creating certain effects that were not visual for the common eyes. The texture of the material is extremely smooth since the paper used in pictures is mostly smooth. The feel of touching the picture is very soft. It is because of this softness and smoothness of the picture that certain effects in the picture are easily viewed by the naked eyes. In this case, the materials and medium used in this piece of art have contributed greatly to the success of the piece of work. Despite the texture, the size of the materials also matters a lot. If the picture were small, it would have been difficult for the audience or the viewers to enjoy effects of the picture. The picture is a two-dimension picture. This means that people can only view two sides of the picture, the length and the width. I can relate well to the two-dimensional picture of the owl well. From all my experiences, I have had to deal with the two sides of a coin. There are advantages and disadvantages of every decision made. In this case, the picture only provides the viewers with only two sides. It is only these two-dimension viewers can enjoy the effects and beauty of the picture. The proportion of the picture is even. They owl is placed at the far right bottom corner ensuring that all the other features in the picture are great. Therefore, proportionality of the picture ensures that all the features are visible thus enhancing the effects of the picture. The display of the picture is excellent. The picture being a two-dimension located at the college in room A201, it has made it easy for the viewers to view all the parts they want at ease. However, despite it being small, five inches wide and nine inches long, the viewers can clearly see all the features in the room. The display has created an attraction to the viewers meaning that it is clear for them to evaluate the different effects. The original context of the work is perfect. It is not strenuous to the eyes and all the features and effects of the picture are visible to the human eyes. The lines of the work are very distinct. In this case, the line describes all effects of the picture. In the picture of the owl, there are no motion lines to assume there is movement in the picture. The lines are not thick but they are thin. However, they do not have a width consistency. Additionally, the lines are no straight; they depend on the features of the pictures and the effects. Moreover, they are predominantly horizontal depending on the positioning of the picture. However, there are some brush lines in the picture, which creates the originality of the painting. The picture being evenly placed, the spaces remaining are perfectly filled different features. For instance, in the far top left there is a space filled with the light of the moon and part of the sky. This shows that from where the picture was taken it was possible to create space and show the features of the moon. In this case, the viewers are can note that the picture was taken on a full moon night. The use of space has allowed the picture to convey other features that can tell a story to the viewers. Finally, the color and the lighting of the picture are immense. The colors in the picture are a mixture of warm and cool colors. This colors are describing that the night was cool and there no sudden activities in the picture. The color has described the night very clearly. On the other hand, the warm colors are describing the room and the activities that might be going on. For instance, it can be seen that the owl is calmly placed at the table with the background window showing the night. Therefore, the color creates a calming mood and at the same time, they indicate activities to the viewers who are interested in the picture. On the other hand, the lighting of the picture has been enhanced by the moon. This light is not much because it is at night. There it is uniform and it supports the context of the picture. Therefore, light and color are in supportive of the content of the picture due to the effects they have added to the picture. Conclusion Visual art is extremely interesting when a viewer applies it appropriately. This is because all the effects and the features can be learned. On the other hand, a story can be created from the picture. Finally, a viewer can be able to relate with the story using personal experiences. In the picture, the colors, lighting, display, dimensions, space, medium and the materials used have creating a soothing effect to the views. For example, using the above, the viewers can know that the picture was taken at a full moon night, there were no motions and the features in the picture were calm. Additionally, the viewers are able to observe other activities in the room. Therefore, people should learn that visual art is not only about the beauty of the art, there are other features to be observes and analyzed.
